Interview in Swedish News Paper "CORREN" 20/03/2009 by: Erik Wallsten:
E- Your video for the song "Hurry Up?" is really crazy, with monkeys, fake hair and lots of other stuff. Are you really that Crazy all the time, Oskar Nilsson, singer and bas-player in The Crazymen?
O- Hmm... Most of this kind of energy we get out in the band. We are more like Slipknot and those kind of bands, we are almost the opposite in everyday life, we´re kind of boring then..
E- Your last e.p was called "Banned in Upsala" what´s the story behind that title?
O- Well, sometimes when you try to get your music out in public you meet alot of resistance. There are alot of people who have tried alot of things but without any big results and then they suddenly die and get rich and famous like shit, but with no use for it in their graves... For us it felt like this for a while "it´s now use", "no one cares", etc... We tried alot of things but no results.. Then suddenly after we named our CD like that... Swedish Radio (P3-Rock etc.) started playing our songs we got some more reviews etc... A title with a point but also just a trick to get a little more attention I guess...
E- Then why is your new e.p called "776" then?
O- We don´t want everything about us to be cristall clear... There is already alot of bands who try to gain points and get fans by using the magic numbers 666 or 777, God and Satan, black and white. To us that´s kind of boring and we´re kind of making fun of that thing but at the same time doin our own thing.... 776....
